This Privacy Policy describes the limited information we collect from visitors to standardmodel.bio and the principles we follow when handling information shared by partners and prospective partners. It does not cover information governed by a separate written agreement (e.g., a Master Services Agreement, Data Processing Agreement, or Business Associate Agreement), which controls in the event of any conflict.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact us — for example, by emailing info@standardmodel.bio or requesting an executive briefing — we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, employer, and the contents of your message.

When you visit, our hosting provider may log standard request data — including IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamp — for operational and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not run third-party analytics, advertising, or behavioral-tracking scripts on standardmodel.bio.

How we use information

  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and the Standard Model platform.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Protected health information and partner data

Standard Model Bio does not solicit, accept, or collect protected health information (PHI), patient-identifying clinical data, or other sensitive personal data through this website. When biopharma partners engage Standard Model Bio to work with their data, that engagement is governed by a written agreement (which may include a Data Processing Agreement and, where applicable, a Business Associate Agreement) that specifies the lawful basis, data flows, security controls, retention, and breach notification procedures.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf (for example, infrastructure, email, and security vendors), under contractual obligations to use the information only as we direct.
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or similar transaction, subject to this policy.

Data retention and security

We retain inquiries and business correspondence for as long as needed to support the relationship and meet legal and accounting requirements. We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information; no system is perfectly secure.
